But what are the benefits of ordinary potato for the face skin? The fact is that the potato contains plenty of amino acids, which participates in the synthesis of protein. Protein deficiency may cause the violation of the water balance inside the body, and that is affects on our skin.
And egg yolk face mask has a moisturizing cleanser and antibacterial properties.
- 1 potato
- 1 Tbsp of milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp of glycerin
Boil 1 small potato in their jackets (to keep all the valuable properties). Peel the potatoes. Combine milk with boiled potatoes and mash with a fork to a form puree. Do not do it in a blender because the potatoes will come sticky.
Wash the egg, crack it and separate the yolk from the egg white. Add the egg yolk into mashed potatoes. Dilute glycerin with water ratio of 1:1. A teaspoon of liquid mixed with the other ingredients.
Apply a thick layer of the resulting mask to the face and neck avoiding the eye area. Potato mask is best while it’s warm. Take the prone position and relax for 15-20 minutes if possible.
